Things I Enjoy
	First and foremost, I like to try new things. When my awesome Aunt Diana took me to Hawai, we tried surfing. It was the first time for both of us, and I really had fun. I hope I get a chance to do it again someday.
My mother, sister, and I all tried rock climbing one day. I was the slowest, because I didn't have any shoes on. It was really hard, and your arms need to be very strong if you want to be good. I would definitely go again!
	Before college, I had never done any martial arts before. But I decided to try taekwondo one day, and it became one of my favorite things to do. In four years, I managed to become a first degree black belt. Lately, though, I have become out of practice, and really would like to start again. Maybe I will learn another kind of martial arts, like Aikido or Karate while I am in Japan.
I love to travel, and have been to Japan twice before. One of the times I was here, in Yamaguchi prefecture, I learned a little bit about obijime, and how they are made. It was very interesting, and very hard. There are many different patterns, and it takes a very long time to make just one!
	One of the things I like the most about Japanese culture, is kimono. They are so beautiful, and to me it is like wearing a work of art. I hope someday to buy a kimono that was made to fit me. Unfortunately, I am too big to buy one that is already made.
Like I said before, I love to travel, and hope to go many places in the world. I have been to Spain with my mother, and Hawaii with my Aunt, and Japan three times by myself, but I hope that is not the end of my adventures. I would like to go to Greece with my sister, Ireland with my Aunt, Australia with my Mom, and Italy with my friend Andrew. While I am here in Japan I hope to travel to Thailand, Taiwan, and maybe South Korea. Even though I have places I really want to see, I would love to go anywhere and everywhere!
As for my everyday hobbies, I love to read, and I like sports a lot too. I like to do crafts like knitting and crosstitching, and I also like video games and movies. I really just like to be doing something, no matter what it is. I just like to have fun!
