Music

Music is very important to me. I listen to many different kinds. One of my favorite bands is SWANS. Their music is extreamly powerful and moving. This picture is a copy of a Japanese music article about their 1984 album "COP". The music of SWANS is like none other, and must be heard to understand its glory.		This is a picture of the singer Jarboe preforming with SWANS in 1992. She was a member of the band from 1985 through 1997, when the band broke up. Her voice is beautiful and violent, delicate and harsh all at the same time. She now is working on a solo career, and her albums are excellent.
Another favorite band is Sonic-Youth, This photo was scanned from their 1986 album "EVOL". The songs of Sonic-Youth always give me chills. Their music captures many emotions and is very personal. I saw them preform live at Zepp Osaka in 2001. The concert was truly one the greatest experiences of my life.		I grew up listening to the music of the famous band Nirvana. Their music helped me to undestand who I was during my teenage years.
