My name is Robert Kelly and Aloha. Please to meet you and welcome to my homepage. How are you doing today? I am an Assistant English Teacher (AET) in Japan. I work for the Kyotanabe Board of Education. I will be attending three junior high schools this year:Osumi Junior High School, Bairyo Junior High School, and Tanabe Junior High School.
I have lived in Japan for one month now. I have tasted a lot of good Japanese food like soba,tempura, sushi, and udon. Japanese food is delicious. But, I still cannot eat natto beans and unagi liver with a smile on my face.
I am from Hilo, Hawaii and I am 22 years old. Hilois the second largest city in Hawaii and it is a little bigger than Kyotanabe. It rains a lot in Hilo but there are many plants and beautiful flowers. Hilo is also right next to the ocean and you can watch beautiful sunsets from the beach.
My sister, father, and mother all live in Hawaii too. My sister is 17 years old and she will be going to Colorado State University this year. My father is Irish and he was born in Iowa, U.S.A. My mother is Chinese and she was born in China and grew up in Taipei, Taiwan. So I am half Chinese and half Irish.My father is a teacher at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. My mother is a business woman and she works with the stock market.
I came to Japan to teach English because I really like teaching and I also enjoy learning about different cultures. I do not speak Japanese very well yet so please help me.

This is my family in a Chinese restaurant in Kailua-Kona town. We are on vacation in Kona. This picture is of me, my mother,my sister, and my father. This is a picture of my mother, my sister, me, and my neice in Taipei, Taiwan.We are having a big family reunion in Taiwan with all of my Chinese relatives. This is a very big restaurant with a huge amount of food for us to eat. Eatinggood food is always fun.
Here are some of my friends in Hilo, Hawaii. In this picture we are relaxingon the couch and eating dinner. We have a lot of fun together and we are alwaysvery genki (happy) when we see each other. Here is an awesome (good) Hawaii club from my University. We are at a big Hawaii dinnerparty, called a Luau. We are all dressed up in Hawaiian clothes. We like to eatHawaiian food, sing Hawaiian songs, and dance the hula. Do you want to dance the Hula? I am telling you that Hula is a lot of fun!
This is a picture of Aimee and I. Aimee is very beautiful. We are in Honolulu, at a beach parknear Waikiki. The water is very blue and calm and pretty in the picture. Aimee and I want to go swimmingin this water. It would be fun. This is my crazy friend Adrian and I, playing in the snow. We are wearing t-shirts and shorts and slippers. We are pretending to be at the beach at my University. Because myUniversity is in Washington, we get snow in the winter time. But, it does not snow in Hawaii because every day is summer in Hawaii. Snow is fun to play with.
