Short History
I was born in Wiesbaden, Germany on a military base. My father is in the
air force. This is a map of Germany. Wiesbadnen is in the south of the
country near Frankfurt.
At the age of three my family moved back to the United States and settled
just outside of St. Louis, Missouri, where i lived until the age of 17.
This is the sky line of St. Louis. It's most famous feature is the Arch,
which you can see below.
At 17 I went away to College at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
While at school, I studied theatre, art, and Japanese. The picture below
is of Antioch Hall, the biggest building on Antioch's Campus.
In college i was able to study and work abroad. I studied at Kyoto Seika
Daigaku for a summer, studying Japanese language and traditional Japanese
theatre. The following photo is of the Manga Studies building on Seika's
campus.
I also worked in Paris for a a summer at a youth hostel named l'Auberge
du Jeuness d'Artagnan. My favorite Museum in Paris is the Centre Pompidou,
the largest contemporary and modern art museum in Europe. This is a picture
of the outside of the museum.
After Ii graduated from college in 2002 i moved to Chicago, where i worked
for a year in professional theatre. The tallest building in America is
Sears Tower, which is in down town Chicago. This is a picture of it.
Now, I live in Kyotanabe-shi, just south of Kyoto in Japan.
