Starting in September, I will be teaching at three junior high schools.
There is Osumi Junior High. Bairyo Junior High. And of course, Tanabe
Junior High. I hope they learn something from me. I hope they enjoy
learning English. I hope we have a lot of fun! The following pictures were taken from a night class that I taught. It was the first time I taught in Japan. It was not too scary. I think most of them could understand me. I am not a mean teacher so you do not have to be afraid of me. I will give all of my students A`s! That is a joke. Please, come to see me and talk to me anytime you want to. I am looking forward to teaching English. But, I still need to study my Japanese. I think I will be fine. It`s all good. |

| Here is Mr. Hayashi and I. He is introducing me to the night class students. This is the first time I taught a class larger than 20 people. Do I look scared? I am fine and my students are all very genki. I had a lot of fun teaching this class. | I am explaining a map of Hawaii. My speach was for one hour and a half. I talked about Hawaiian culture, geography, and history. I also introduced myself and my life to everyone. I think they were interested in what I had to say. I hope so. It`s all good. |
